Khwabgah is a holistic educational development project for the most vulnerable children in partnership with the Education Department of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Khwabgah was born in 2012 in the slums of Taimur Nagar to restore the dignity and nurture aspirations and dreams of underprivileged children.
This was an initiative to help children dream and develop self-confidence and capabilities. Khwabgah Centres provide a safe environment for children to grow and learn by focusing on education, health, nutrition and life skills.

A Snapshot
KHWABGAH
Khwabgah was born in the slums of Taimur Nagar in 2012, to nurture aspirations and accord dignity to underprivileged children. It is the lives of these children that Khwabgah wanted to focus on. We dedicated ourselves to mainstreaming these children by rescuing them from human trafficking and other adversities. We wanted to provide them with a safe environment, where their talents could be encouraged and their true selves could thrive. For this, we decided to collaborate with the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC).
In 2015, thus, Khwabgah transitioned into a formal and institutionalized framework through partnership with four SDMC for an intensive and extensive engagement, to improve the quality of education, which was critical to mainstreaming these children.
